Crocs on the rocks
I was a crocs sceptic, but succumbed to a lime green pair in a yacht chandlers in France. It made a change from the usual round of 'bits' that cost an arm et jambe at the beginning of every sailing season. They are great on bikes, on deck, on the beach and for pretty much everything - until I wore them in the rain to go into an Internet cafe in La Rochelle when I skidded arse over laptop on the very fine shiny stone floor. So step carefully there!
narrow ankles approach with care
I love 'em and have three colours. Beware, though, if you have narrow ankles as my foot slips forward and my toe hits the end of the shoe...I'm going to have a go at getting a size up for walking long distances
Wonderful
I live in these! They are comfortable, much better looking than many other crocs, and have an element of grace about them too. I'll be buying my 4th pair soon as I go back packing across India! (One pair will usually last 12 months with continual everyday wear).
