emu vs ugg
Probably like many people, I was torn between whether to purchase a pair of UGG boots or EMU boots. In the end, I went for the EMU boots - and couldn't be happier! The Bronte High boots which I went for are much cheaper than UGG boots and have a much thicker hardwearing sole. OK granted that the EMU Bronte boots do not contain real sheepwool lining, only the outer, but they still feel and look gorgeous! The wool is actually Merino wool which is similar to sheep wool. The only criticism I have are that they are narrower than I expected around the calf but I think they will give. Amazon are doing a really good deal on these boots at the moment - I had them in chocolate which are gorgeous! EMU ticks all the boxes in my opinion and I had to write this review to help others in my position who cannot make up their minds - I wasn't dissapointed.

When i first saw these boots a few years ago i thought they were hideous but over the years they've grown on me so i thought i'd give them a try and thank god i did!
I can honestly say they are the most comfortable shoes EVER! Your feet feel totally cozy and supported inside its like being outside in your slippers but even more comfortable.
Like most reviews suggest buy a size smaller then your usually size, they may seem a tad bit close but after 2 wears they will be perfect. :-)
I tried on some ugg boots and they are not as comfortable as the emu boots, the emu's are much more spongey and supporting. The UGGs felt flat inside, i'm so glad i went with the emu's.
However the emu's are more narrow around the legs then UGGs are but i don't mind that at all. I've found myself trying to make excuses in my mind of why i need to get the boots in all shades (very tempting) but i suppose thats plain greedy.
Generally folks, great boots give them a try.
Do not listen to reviews, including this one
I bought these superb boots. They are fantastic. Actually they were a gift for someone else, but still I could tell right away that they are very well done and the color looks very nice (charcoal). But for the love of Buddha, do not listen to the other reviews. These boots are neither tight in the calf, nor you have to buy one size smaller. I have no idea who wrote the other reviews (someone with a huge calf and very small feet?). So I went and bought one size smaller and guess, what?! They were too small. So yeah, listen to the seller and follow the seller's chart. The sizes are OK and they won't be too tight in the calf... I mean, at least 99.9% of the times.
