Unbeatable!!
I have just bought my first pair of Uggs and am so delighted with them. I worried about the expense and questioned whether it might be wiser to buy a cheaper brand of a similar boot like the Emu. However, I tried both on and Uggs were by far the most comfortable. They are so luxuriously lined that there is no need to wear socks as your feet are cocooned in the softest sheepskin ever. I have yet to test out this but apparently Uggs maintain the temperature of your feet, keeping them cool in summer and snugly warm in winter - but I can verify the warmth! You can change the look of these boots too, by rolling the top down, and they are perfect for tucking your jeans into without feeling too tight around your legs. I've worn my Uggs on icy mornings and my feet have been toasty warm all day, I've worn them in the rain and my feet have remained dry and my Uggs had no stainmarks at the end of the day. Go on, treat yourself, you will fall in love with them, just as I have done.
Worth that bit extra
I totally agree with the previous reviewer. I brought a cheaper pair of boots which resembled Uggs, but were a cheap imitation. I didn't realise this until I got my first Uggs and realised how fantastic they are- warm, comfortable, (probably the most comfortable item of footwear I have ever had) and go with any outfit really. I sound like an Ugg salesperson and for that, sorry- but trust me, the real thing is worth it.
An expensive boot
I have both the Ugg and Emu boots and for the price and quality I would reccomend the Emu Stinger boot everytime they are better value for money and are more substantial than the Ugg. You are just paying for the name when you buy the Ugg boots
